Montenegro is the gateway to Parque del Café, the coffee theme park about ten minutes away at Pueblo Tapao. The typical booking here is a large group on park hours: out early, back mid-afternoon. Because the distance is short, what sets the price is not the kilometres but the number of seats and the waiting, so when you post the ride say how many of you there are and whether you want the driver to collect you at closing time.
Away from the visitors, the jeep does what it has always done here: carrying people and supplies up to the outlying farms. El Castillo and the places along the Quimbaya road are among the most frequent requests, and in harvest season the same vehicles bring coffee back down to the road. If you are loading sacks or crates, mention it — not every driver has a free load bed, and it is much better settled before he arrives than argued about on the spot.
